Do you love comedy? Do you ever wonder what it takes to be a comedian? Wondering how to come up with comedy material? Got a wedding speech to prepare? Have to give talks in the work place? Maybe you just want to increase your confidence?
If yes, don't miss out on this Comedy Writing Workshop with Jane Postlethwaite, Funny Women & Brighton Comedy Festival Award Finalist. Jane's one woman show, 'Made in Cumbria' was nominated for two comedy awards in the Brighton Fringe and received rave reviews at Edinburgh Fringe. She was recently on the Radio 4 comedy drama, 'Almost like being in love' alongside Game of Thrones star Gemma Whelan.
In this bumper workshop Jane will help you tap into your creativity, get inspired and learn the pieces that make a good joke. The aim with both workshops is to help you become a confident writer and start thinking creatively while having lots of fun doing it in a supportive environment. There are loads of tips and exercises to do so make sure you bring a notebook and pen. Get 2018 off to a great start with 5 hours of laughter!
Open to all! Suitable for beginners, people wanting to brush up their skills, try something new or as a confidence booster!
